On April 1, 1986, Prestige Estate Projects started its operations as a partnership firm constituted under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, under the name and style of both Prestige Estates and Properties. Also, the company's partners of the company were the Late S Razack, Irfan Razack, Rezwan Razack, and Sameera Noaman.
Also, soon the firm's name was changed to Prestige Estates Projects by a supplementary deed of partnership as on May 12, 1997.
It was being registered as a private limited company under Part–IX of the Companies Act, 1956, as on June 4, 1997, along with the name of Prestige Estates Projects Private Limited. It was also converted to a public limited company as of November 10, 2009, along with the name Prestige Estates Projects Limited and also received a fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent upon the change in status as on November 10, 2009, from the RoC.
It is promoted by Irfan Razack, Rezwan Razack, and Noaman Razack and has more than 23 years of experience in both the real estate development, which are the leading real estate development companies in south India. Also, it has accomplished about 142 real estate projects of about 27.09 million sq. ft. It has also developed a diversified portfolio of the real estate development projects that focus on the projects in residential (including apartments, commercial (including corporate office blocks, built-to-suit facilities, technology parks and campuses and SEZs), villas, plotted developments and integrated townships), hospitality (including hotels, resorts and serviced accommodation) and retail (it includes because bug bey ing shopping malls) sections of the real estate industry.
