About Sterlite Electric IPO
Incorporated in 2015, Sterlite Electric Ltd. is engaged in manufacturing capital goods and providing system integration solutions for the power transmission and distribution (T&D) industry. The company operates across four segments: overhead conductors, power cables, optical ground wire (OPGW), and master system integration (MSI) services. Its product range includes ACSR, alloy, composite core, ACCC, ACSS, GAP type conductors, as well as medium, high, and extra-high voltage cables up to 220kV, fibre-integrated and high-ampacity cables. MSI services focus on grid upgrade and upgrade solutions. The company has supplied products and solutions to over 70 countries, including the USA, Brazil, Sweden, South Africa, Egypt, UAE, Chile, and Peru between April 2022 and March 2025. Sterlite Electric operates manufacturing facilities in Jharsuguda (Odisha), Piparia and Rakholi (Dadra and Nagar Haveli) for overhead conductors and OPGW, and in Haridwar (Uttarakhand) for power cables.
