About PVR IPO
Incorporated in 1995, PVR Limited is engaged in the business of film exhibition and cinema entertainment in India. The company operates multiplex and single-screen cinemas across multiple cities in India under the “PVR” brand. It established India’s first multiplex cinema, PVR Anupam in Delhi, in 1997. As of August 31, 2005, PVR Limited operated a cinema network comprising 10 cinemas with 39 screens across five major cities in India, including multiplex and single-screen formats. The company serves millions of moviegoers annually and focuses on expanding its cinema exhibition business through the launch of new multiplex cinemas across major metropolitan and emerging cities in India.
