About Ginni Filaments FPO
Incorporated in 1982, Ginni Filaments Limited is engaged in the manufacturing of cotton yarn, knitted fabrics, dyed and processed fabrics, and textile products for domestic and export markets. The company commenced operations in 1990 with the production of ultrafine-combed cotton yarn as a 100% export-oriented unit at Chhata, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The company operates in three major business segments comprising spinning, knitting, and dyeing & processing of knit fabrics. Its spinning division manufactures cotton yarn including open-end yarn in various count ranges, while the knitting division produces grey knit fabrics such as single jersey, interlock, rib, terry, and lycra fabrics. The company also undertakes dyeing and processing of knitted fabrics. Ginni Filaments has installed machinery sourced from international manufacturers including Rieter Holding AG, Schlafhorst, Volkmann Group, Terrot GmbH, and Mayer & Cie. GmbH & Co. KG. In 1998, the company expanded into open-end yarn manufacturing with imported automated machinery from Switzerland.
