About Gail (India) IPO
Incorporated in 1984, GAIL (India) Limited is a natural gas transmission and distribution company engaged in the transportation, processing, and marketing of natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in India. The company operates one of the largest natural gas pipeline networks in the country, including the Hazira-Vijaipur-Jagdishpur (HVJ) pipeline and multiple regional gas pipeline networks across several states. GAIL transports natural gas to fertilizer plants, power plants, industrial users, and city gas distribution companies. The company also operates LPG transmission pipelines and natural gas processing plants that produce LPG and other hydrocarbon products.
